Juneteenth Day Celebration

On Sunday, June 16th, we celebrate our freedom in Christ and remember the news of June 19, 1865, from Galveston, Texas, when enslavement ended in America. Juneteenth commemorates freedom and emphasizes education and achievement.

Join St. Marcus in celebration as people of all races and nationalities join hands to acknowledge a period in history that shaped and continues to influence our society today. Experience music from the Gospel Choir, a message from Pastor Mark Jeske, and food and fellowship following 10:30 am worship. Chicken and rib dinner plates with all the fixin’s will be served for $11. Free hot dog plates will be available for kids.
