Repairing God's House--Preparing God's PeopleSt. Marcus connects people to Jesus and to othersin joyful love and service. If you recognize that statement as our mission, you are Al!ve. St. Marcus has a new look: from above, from the back, fromthe side, to the front! Pictures on our Facebook page show that view of Al!ve and the efforts to rebuild God’s house in this past month.
If you ask what is next, put your hand over your heart and pray that you are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). If you want to see if you are Al!ve, picture yourself in worship next Sunday, May 19th. It is Pentecost--the celebration of the Lord and Giver of Life! Let’s see if we can surpass last Sundays attendance of 746 in the four worship services. Your team is Al!ve and we are scheduling visits to share more details and opportunities about the Al!ve major gift campaign. Jesus said it so well, “Because I live, you also will live!” (John 14:19).
St. Marcus Blood Drive
St. Marcus will be hosting a Blood Drive on Tuesday May 28th from 2:00-7:00 pm in the multi-purpose room. Enter through the Church Office doors on the corner of 1st and Garfield Street. Walk-ins are welcome! For more information or to schedule a time please contact Pat Steliga at 262-695-4049.
YP Social Event--Brewer's Baseball Game
Swing batter, batter! Step right up and join the St. Marcus YP with their 2nd annual Brewer’s game and tailgate at Miller Park on Saturday, June 8th at 6:15 pm. This game is also the 27th annual Cerveza Day honoring the history and accomplishments of Hispanics in baseball. The event is $25 per person and includes your ticket, burgers/brats/buns/waters for tailgating. Please bring your own additional beverages and snacks.
Help Our School Collection Programs
Save your Labels for Education, Boxtop for Education, Nickels for Schools, Dean Dairy Kids Caps & Cash, Morning Glory Cash for Kids, Kwik Trip Milk Moola, and Donuts to Dough! Labels are turned in each month for money to St. Marcus. This school year we have already received over $800. A container for drop off can be found in the Atrium. The last day for this collection period is May 24th.
