My husband, Mike, and I have been members at St. Marcus Lutheran Church since 1991. I was a public school educator for 25 years; however, I always wanted to serve in a Christian school. I was blessed to join the St. Marcus Lutheran School staff in 2009. It is my joy to serve as an administrator in this Christ-based school.
I love working to ensure that our school has programs that are necessary to ensure that every student, including students with special needs, can be successful.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:28
I have been married to Mike for over 25 years. We have a total of 5 grandchildren. Our oldest son, Cullen, and his wife, Maria, have twins: McCoy and Clara. Our youngest son, Jason, and his wife, Holly, have three children: Annabelle, Monty, and Josie. We are blessed that they live in the Milwaukee area. This gives us the opportunity to provide childcare, attend their many activities and have many sleepovers. They enrich our lives in so many ways. Our grandchildren are truly gifts from our God.
Outside on my deck, on a golf course, biking or walking. If I have to be indoors you might find me reading, coffee-clutching with Mike (my husband), or spending time with my five grandchildren.
I grew up in Chicago.
