Connecting people to Jesus and to others in joyful love and service.

For more than a century, St. Marcus has supported people on their spiritual journeys.

Together, we enjoy the love and fellowship of community. Our downtown location, cultural diversity and worldwide connections bring us face-to-face with the gospel each and every day.

Our worship styles vary by service, giving our diverse congregation a chance to choose where they feel most at home. You will hear and see ancient and modern, solemn and exuberant, traditional and contemporary worship experiences.

St. Marcus is a Lutheran church, a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). For more information on our beliefs, check out the We Believe page.

An extension of St. Marcus Lutheran Church, St. Marcus Lutheran School is a nationally recognized leader in Christian urban education. Founded in 1872, St. Marcus School has a strong commitment to disciple children for Christ and to train them for lifelong leadership and service in their families, faith life, workplace, community and country.

Join us: whatever your age or background, wherever you are in life's journey, we invite you to be a part of a Christian community and experience the joy of knowing and serving Jesus. We would love to get to know you!
