How To Give

When spirituality is connected with generosity the end results are beautiful. Entire communities are blessed, the local church is well equipped, and the Christian giver glorifies God who delights in our willingness to give toward the needs of others and to depend deeply upon Him. (2 Corinthians 9:7Malachi 3:10)

ONLINE | The best way to give is online: it's secure, it's simple, and it offers an option for consistent giving. You may choose to give a one-time gift or establish a recurring gift.

ELECTRONIC BILL PAY | Many financial institutions offer this free automatic service. With this feature, you can authorize your bank or credit union to provide recurring payments to the recipients you indicate. This is convenient for you and maintains St. Marcus’ ability to continue ministry even when you are traveling for business or pleasure. Payee information should read: St. Marcus Church, 2215 N Palmer Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212, (414) 562-3369.

AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL (ACH) | Automated clearing house provides regular, automatic withdrawals from your bank account with a direct deposit to St Marcus. Our business office will assist in setting this up. Contact Jayne at jayne.reuter@stmarcus.orgor (414) 267-8371.

IN PERSON - OFFICE | Simply stop by the business office at 2215 N Palmer Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212 between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm on weekdays. To receive an end-of-year tax receipt, please be sure to always include your full name and address on your envelope (cash) or check.

BY MAIL | You can mail a check, made out to "St. Marcus Church," to our business office at 2215 N Palmer Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212.

STOCK TRANSFERS | Stock transfers to St. Marcus can maintain the full value of the gift. Please contact Courtney Schultz, Donor Stewardship Coordinator, 414-562-3163 x 7558 or courtney.schultz@stmarcus.org to facilitate your stock transfer.

PLANNED GIVING | Planned giving can be a way to reduce or avoid estate and inheritance taxes and help to insure long-term charitable giving to St. Marcus. There are many vehicles through which a planned gift can be made. Bequests, life insurance policies, individual retirement accounts (IRA’s), and charitable trusts are all popular methods. Donors are encouraged to consult their financial or legal advisors when considering these types of gifts.

MATCHING GIFTS | Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees.

If your company has a matching gift program, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to St. Marcus may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and /or spouses too.
