Women's Retreat
 
Women from St. Marcus are organizing a retreat Women’s Retreat November 1-3. The theme is Falling in Love with Jesus. We will be spending the weekend at a home in Wales, Wisconsin. The retreat will start at 5:00 pm on Friday and conclude at 10:00 am on Sunday. The cost is $100. A few scholarships are available. WLHS Job Opening—Wisconsin Lutheran High School is looking to hire an Attendance Office Assistant. This position is staffed when school is in session. This person is responsible for ensuring that student attendance is properly recorded in the system, speaking with parents regarding student absences, interacting with students and teachers and enforcing attendance policies. WLHS Veterans Day Observance—Wisconsin Lutheran High School will hold its annual Veterans Day observance on Monday, November 11, 2024. Service men and women are invited to a complimentary plated breakfast that will be served in the WLHS cafeteria at 7:30 a.m. RSVP for the breakfast at wlhs.org.veterans by Friday, November 1. The Point of Grace Campus Ministry Bible Study
 
College students are invited to Bible study Wednesdays at 7:00 pm during fall and spring semesters at the TPOG Campus House (2215 E Kenwood Blvd, Milwaukee, WI). A free meal is served starting at 6:00 pm. Bring your Bible (or Bible app) and perhaps a friend or two and join Pastor Hein from St. Marcus Lutheran Church and the UWM student organization for some fellowship and time to grow in faith.
