In John 20:10-18, the story is about when Jesus rose from the dead and Mary was still mourning. The artist is showing when Jesus is walking away before she realizes it’s Him. Soon she figures out that the man she is talking to is Jesus. Then she shares the Gospel and tells everyone that Jesus has risen.
