Rev. Wayne Shevey is currently serving alongside LIVEIT leadership, responsible for Pastoral duties related to the 5:30 service and support at St. Marcus. We asked him to share a little about himself and he replied:

“Growing up in Franklin, Milwaukee has always been my home. Upon graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1999, I was assigned to begin a church in O'Fallon, Missouri (western suburb of St. Louis). I served there for 14 awesome years until accepting the Call to serve as one of the Campus Pastors at Wisconsin Lutheran College. What a thrill it is to work with young people who are full of energy and anticipation for what God has in store for their future!

I have been married to Julie (nee Feuerstahler) since 1995, and we have four children: Morgan, who will be a freshman at Martin Luther College; Kaylyn, who will be a junior at Luther Prep; Marisa, who will be a freshman at Luther Prep; Elijah, who will be in 7th grade at St. Paul's in Muskego. Julie teaches 6th grade and upper grade Language Arts, Music and Art, while directing junior choir and coaching a couple of sports. We live in Muskego, 2 1/2 miles from where I grew up!

I love watching all kinds of sports, especially ones in which my children participate! For fun, I officiate all kinds of sports and try to attend as many activities on the WLC campus as possible.

Rev. Shev will continue to serve the LIVEIT community while St. Marcus seeks to Call a permanent Pastor to fill the position preveiously held by Pastor Kelly Huet.
