Volunteer Coordinator
Office: 414-334-5231
I graduated from WLC in 2015 and have a degree in Biology with a minor in Art.
I got connected to St. Marcus through Petra VonDeylen. She was working here as a 2nd grade teacher and convinced to come check it out and I got interviewed and hired on as a support teacher very shortly after that.
I'm still learning what I love about what I do at St. Marcus as I explore my new role as Volunteer Coordinator. Over the last four years at St. Marcus, I have loved being able to build relationships with scholars and families and serve others in our community. I love that I get to learn and grow and gain new perspectives all the time.
A verse that has really struck me lately is 1 John 3:18 – "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth."
doing way too many things. I have about a thousand hobbies. I love to hike, crochet, knit, make greeting cards, read and so much more!
I think my current favorite place to visit is wherever my nieces are, which is Arizona for the time being. I would say that my favorite place of all time though is probably Koh Tao, Thailand!
I am certified in scuba diving and I once caught an octopus while night snorkeling! (Sorry, that's two...)
I love my St. Marcus family and I'm so excited to see where God leads me!
