New Students with IEPs or Special Needs Enrollment

For the 2022-2023 school year, our Special Education Seats are now FULL. If you are still interested in applying to St. Marcus, please fill out the Inquiry Form in Part 2. If more seats become available later in the season, the Director of Student Services will reach out to families who filled out the form.

All prospective families that have a child with an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) or special needs are required to do the below steps BEFORE filling out a St. Marcus application.

PART 1: Take a few minutes to learn more about our Special Education Program.

PART 2: Fill out the IEP/Special Needs Student Inquiry Form (available starting February 1st, 2022).

  • Filling out this form adds your child to the Special Education Seat WAITING LIST to meet with the Student Services team. A member of the team will only reach out to you if seats become available.
  • Please note: if your student has an IEP, you will need to upload the IEP to the form OR email it to
  • If a seat becomes available, a member of the Student Services team will then follow up with you via email to schedule a meeting to discuss your child’s needs and the potential enrollment process.
  • Because we have reached our capacity currently, please be sure to view the list of backup school locations HERE.

Part 3: Follow-Up from Your Meeting

  • If/when you meet with the Director of Student Services will provide you with specific instructions and next steps for enrollment following your meeting.
  • If we are unable to provide student services for your child’s specific needs, we will not be able to offer them a seat at St. Marcus for the year. We will give you a list of recommended backup schools that may be able to provide the services your child needs.

Questions? Reach out to the Director of Student Services, Rebecca Hannemann.
