New Students with IEPs or Special Needs Enrollment

At this time, our Special Education program is now FULL for the 23-24 school year. If you are interested in applying to get on the Special Education waiting list, please fill out the inquiry form in Part 2. All prospective families that have a child with an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) or special needs are required to do the below steps and be approved by our Special Education Student Services Team BEFORE moving forward in the enrollment process.

PART 1: Take a few minutes to learn about our Special Education Program

PART 2: Fill out the IEP/Special Needs Student Inquiry Form

  • Filling out this form puts your child on the Special Education seat waiting list The Student Services Team reviews all submitted forms and IEPs/Evaluations and will ONLY reach out IF a Special Education seat becomes available. 
  • NOTE: An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) AND Evaluation must be uploaded via the inquiry form or emailed to in order to be considered for enrollment in the special education program. 
  • If you do not have the above forms currently, please reach out to your current school or MPS Child Find (414-874-8493). You will not be contacted by the Student Services Team unless you submit these documents. 


Part 3: Additional Steps

  • The Student Services Team will review all complete forms and IEPs/Evaluations. 
  • If a Special Education Seat becomes available following this review, the Director of Student Services will email you one of the following:
    • Approval to continue on in the enrollment process along with any next steps. 
    • Denial to continue on in the enrollment process due to services not being sufficient at St. Marcus for your child’s needs along with a list of recommended backup schools.
