WLHS Prism Concerts

WLHS Prism Concerts will be held Friday, May 17 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, May 18 at 7:30 pm, and Sunday, May 19 at 2:00 and 7:30 pm in the WLHS gymnasium. Enjoy the God-given talents of the WLHS student ensembles, solos, duets, choirs, and bands. Advance tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children or at the door, $8 for adults and $5 for children. Call Day Service at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary

Seminary graduates will learn of their first assignment into the full-time ministry at the seminary’s Call Day Service on Thursday, May 23, at 10:00 am. Second year students will receive assignments as vicars at this service. The service will be held in the campus auditorium.

Graduation Concert and Service at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary

Celebrating the events of graduation week, the Seminar Chorus will present a sacred concert in the campus auditorium at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 23. The following day, as they complete the course of study for pastoral ministry, 26 senior students will receive the Master of Divinity degree at the seminary’s Graduation Service. It will be held in the campus auditorium on Friday, May 24 at 10:00 am.

Save Lives One Step at a Time

WELS Lutherans for life will be hosting a Life-A-Thon, a walk/run event that will be held May 11 at the Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Participants can choose between a 5k run or two-mile walk, and there will be a ¼ mile run for kids. Proceeds will directly benefit the pregnancy clinic operated by WELS Lutherans for Life. Lutheran Chorale of Milwaukee Spring Concert

Join the Lutheran Chorale of Milwaukee for a concert of sacred music on Sunday, May 5 at 2:00 or 4:30 pm at St. John’s in Wauwatosa (7809 Harwood Ave). The theme is “Jesus, Our Refuge” and will feature choral favorites, audience participation, brass and timpani. A freewill offering will be collected. Bethel Balge Piano Recital

Dr. Bethel Balge, a member of the faculty at Bethany Lutheran College and Martin Luther College and an internationally acclaimed performer, will present a piano recital at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary on Sunday, April 28, at 7:00 pm. The recital will be held in the chapel. There are no advance ticket sales.

WELS Women’s Ministry Conference
