St. Marcus School remains dedicated to their mission: To disciple children now and for all eternity, and to train them in excellence for their roles in their family, church, community, workplace and country.

Our school serves 674 students from K3 through the 8th grade, with an average school day beginning promptly at 8:00 a.m. and concluding at 3:45 p.m. Our students graduate fully prepared for high school and positioned to excel in higher education, including university academics, and as leaders in the community.

Building strong futures requires an equally strong foundation. As a nationally recognized leader in urban education reform, St. Marcus empowers individuals, children and families to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

St. Marcus is a Christian, Milwaukee Choice School specializing in college preparatory s
tudies.

St. Marcus Expansion Project

The educational disparity in Wisconsin, the abysmal graduation rates of central city youth, and the violence and number of broken homes in our zip code compels St. Marcus to reach out to more students and their families with quality education.  We are doing that through our Unlock the Potential campus expansion project.

Phase I of the campus expansion was completed in the late Summer of 2011.  The school building was designed for 348 students in 4-year-old kindergarten through 4th grade.   It also includes church and school office space, community outreach areas, and a connector that connects the old and new facilities.

While Phase I is a huge blessing to our mission to improve Milwaukee’s education, Phase II of our campus expansion still needs your support. Phase II will provide an additional 14,000 square feet of facilities critical to meeting the needs of over 700 students, their families and the surrounding community.  The space will be used as a gymnasium, auditorium and performance space.  The building will also be opened to the community as a public gathering space, volunteer and educational programming resource center.  The Phase II addition broke ground at the end of August, 2012.  $500,000 remains to be raised and stands in the way of reaching our goal and completing the Unlock the Potential expansion.  Your support allows us to reach hundreds more central city students and families.
